Course requirements

Applicants should meet OTHM’s entry profile and be suitable for study in education and training. Centres must ensure learners can communicate clearly and have the core skills needed to complete the programme.

  • Relevant Level 3 Diploma or equivalent qualification, or GCE Advanced Level in 2 subjects or equivalent, or mature learner status with relevant management experience

  • Learners are typically aged 18 or above and, where applicable, must provide evidence of English language competency

Assessments

Assessment is based on achievement of all specified learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit. Learners complete assessment tasks and compile a portfolio of evidence; there is no formal teaching practice requirement.
