Course requirements

These qualifications are designed for learners who are typically aged 18 and above. The entry profile is likely to include prior academic study at Level 3 or equivalent, and learners from non-majority English-speaking countries must provide evidence of English language competency.

  • Relevant Level 3 Diploma, GCE Advanced level in 2 subjects, or an equivalent qualification; mature learners over 21 with relevant management experience may also be accepted

  • If not from a majority English-speaking country, evidence of English language competency is required

Assessments

All units in this qualification are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. Assessment is criterion referenced and learners must achieve all learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit. Across the units, assessment includes coursework and, where specified, project work.

  • Criterion-referenced assessment against all learning outcomes and assessment criteria

  • Evidence submitted through coursework and, in some units, project-based assessment
