Course requirements

Entry is intended for learners who can study at postgraduate level. Applicants should normally hold a relevant academic qualification, be at least 21 years old at the start of the course, and meet OTHM English language expectations where applicable.

  • An honours degree in a related subject, a UK Level 6 diploma, or an equivalent overseas qualification

  • Mature learners with management experience may also be considered subject to centre approval

Assessments

Assessment is coursework based across all units. Each unit is internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM, and learners must achieve all learning outcomes and assessment criteria to gain a pass.

  • All units are assessed through coursework

  • Assessment is criterion referenced on achievement of learning outcomes and assessment criteria

  • Units may be assessed through reports, presentations with speaker notes, and project-based assignments

  • The qualification is graded on a pass or fail basis

Progression

The qualification supports both academic and professional progression. Because it is Ofqual regulated at Level 7, learners may advance into employment or continue to Master’s top-up study with advanced standing.
