  • Learners aged 18 and above

  • Individuals progressing from a relevant Level 3 qualification

  • Learners with GCE Advanced level study or equivalent qualifications

  • Mature learners with relevant management experience

  • Aspiring supervisors, coordinators, and managers in health and social care

  • Learners aiming to progress to Level 5 study or university entry

Course requirements

Entry is designed for learners typically aged 18 and above who meet OTHM’s entry profile and, where applicable, English language expectations.

  • Relevant Level 3 Diploma qualification, GCE Advanced level in 2 subjects, or equivalent qualification; mature learners over 21 with relevant management experience may also be accepted

  • Learners from non-majority English-speaking countries must provide evidence of English language competency

Assessments

Assessment is coursework-based across all units. Units are assessed by the centre, internally quality assured, and externally verified by OTHM against all specified learning outcomes and assessment criteria.
