Course requirements

Entry is intended for appropriately qualified or experienced adult learners who can study at Level 7 and, where relevant, demonstrate English language competence.

  • An honours degree in a related subject, a UK Level 6 diploma, or an equivalent overseas qualification

  • Mature learners with management experience may be accepted; learners must be 21 or older and non-majority English-speaking applicants must provide evidence of English language competency

Assessments

Assessment is coursework-based and designed to confirm achievement of all learning outcomes and assessment criteria for the mandatory unit.

  • All units are internally assessed by the centre

  • Assessment is externally verified by OTHM

  • Learners must achieve all learning outcomes and assessment criteria to pass

  • The mandatory unit is assessed through a Research Proposal of approximately 2500 words

Progression

Successful completion provides master's-level credit and supports academic and professional progression in research-focused study and development pathways.
